Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics
Presidential Message
It is a profound honor to begin my term as President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics in 2026. I am deeply grateful for the confidence placed in me and for the opportunity to serve an organization with a rich history of scientific excellence, mentorship, and collegiality.
I step into this role at a time of strength for the Academy. GNYAP remains scientifically vibrant and broadly engaged across fellows, associate members, students, and industry partners. The success of recent Annual Scientific Meetings, coupled with disciplined fiscal stewardship, reflects the collective commitment of our leadership, committees, and membership to sustaining excellence while adapting to evolving challenges.
The Annual Fall Meeting remains the centerpiece of our educational mission and professional community. Strong participation, meaningful industry engagement, and continued support from membership dues enable the Academy to deliver a high-caliber scientific program in a premier venue while supporting long-term financial stability. Equally important is the Academy’s continued investment in students, residents, and early-career prosthodontists, whose enthusiasm and participation ensure a vibrant future for our specialty.
Looking ahead, the 2026 Annual Scientific Program reflects the Academy’s continued commitment to leadership in prosthodontic education. Featuring an exceptional roster of nationally and internationally recognized speakers, the program will address complex rehabilitative care, digital workflows, biomaterials, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Through thoughtful planning, the primary focus remains on delivering a high-quality learning experience grounded in scientific rigor and educational value.
As we move forward, strengthening governance, transparency, and institutional clarity will remain a priority. The Academy’s leadership is committed to clear processes, respectful dialogue, and continuous improvement—principles that build trust and ensure the organization’s long-term integrity. These efforts are foundational to sustaining a collegial and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are welcomed and valued.
Membership engagement continues to grow, with a strong number of new applications reflecting ongoing interest in and confidence in the Academy. This momentum underscores the importance of maintaining an organization that is welcoming, academically rigorous, and professionally meaningful to all who participate.
I look forward to continuing to work closely with our officers, Council members, committee chairs, administrative leadership, and membership to build on the Academy’s strengths. Together, we will continue to advance prosthodontic education, mentorship, and professional excellence while strengthening the sense of community that defines the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.
Thank you for your trust, your service, and your continued commitment to GNYAP. I am excited for the year ahead and for all that we will accomplish together.
